I felt the need to make some further treasure tokens for Frostgrave, so I made a few more. Grabbing a sprue of 25mm bases, I went about constructing three new ones.
Demon Skull (Gargant Head!)

Looking through all my bits and bobs I found this Chaos Gargant head, which would work perfectly for a token. First, I made the flagstones for the base by cutting lengths of sprue in half, (to make them slightly thinner). After sticking them to the base, I attached the head. Then I chopped up little bits of sprue to make some rubble to prop up it up and cover its hole. Once done, a basic paint job finished the token.
Armour Rack

Next, I grabbed a sprue of Viking Hirdmen from Warlord Games that I had lying around and selected the most suitable torso, then I chopped off his legs.
Then I removed the hands from a pair of arms and stuck them on the body. After gently carving a length of sprue, I glued it to the underside of the torso to make the wooden frame.

After completing the flagstones, I attached the armour to the base. A few final weapons, and I called it done.
Hand of Glory

While I rummaged through my bits box, I also came across this giant Gargant’s hand, which came in incredibly handy!

Again, I coated the base in flagstones, then glued a number of pieces of sprue together and trimmed them to make the stone plinth. After gluing the hand to the plinth and the plinth to the base, I finished it off by adding a plaque, then a runestone to the palm of the hand.
Painting it up was quick and easy, and I’m really happy that I found a new propose for those unloved, and long forgotten pieces of mini.
