Continuing with the animal theme, next up is my version of a fighting cat!
As with the werewolf in my previous post (SPRUE DUDE no18: Werewolf Dude – Use The Sprue), I made the head first. I glued three pieces of sprue together before cutting into a rough oval shape. Then, I added the eyes, nose, and ears to give it a feline look.
I made the body the same way as I always do, but I did take time to embellish it with a nice name tag. Then, with a knife, I scraped all over the mini to create a fur-like texture and then equipped her with a sword and shield.
Painting it was easy. I gave her a lovely base coat of orange before adding highlights with a quick yellow dry brush.
I am happy with this one (although someone has said it looks like an owl?). This dude has inspired me to make a whole warband of animal-themed dudes, which I’m off to make now!

Just find out about your blog. So nice to see someone still using the blog media over the 100% social network. I love your little creations. I might try to make one myself if I find my sprue box!
