I started making this little warband after completing the “Wooden Sign Dude.” And as I had so much fun doing it, I just kept on making them!

Wooden Sign Dude

Inspired by long walks across the moors, I made a sign post with the obligatory and, frankly, necessary crow. This mini used a tiny amount of sprue and ended up looking quite cool.

Hazard Dude

This was a really quick one. I cut out a couple of triangles from flattened sprue goo and then glued them to a simple frame. I finished it off by adding a missing cat poster and an unhappy face.

Abbey Road Dude

Again, using flat sprue goo pieces, I chopped them into useful sizes and glued them all over a basic frame. I felt this chap needed a cool-looking moustache, so I gave him one before adding a sword and shield. I painted each panel in the style of a different road sign, and he was complete!

A-Road Dude

As with all successful warbands, they need a leader, so I made him the largest of the quartet! Again, keeping with the overall look, I gave him large facial features and the biggest sword of the bunch. As I hadn’t painted a sign green yet, that was the colour he ended up being!

Another warband done. Now on to the next one!
