“Move over war rig, here comes the mini rig!”
Time for another quick one. But I think I’ve chosen the most inadequate vehicle to convert?
Three-wheelers aren’t normally known for speed, but I’m going to change that. What this fellow needs is a rocket booster!
I chopped up a pen lid for this and glued it to the pick-up bit of the model. Next, I trimmed a couple of pieces of sprue and drilled barrels into them before attaching them to the roof. Then I sharpened two more bits and stuck them to the side of the van. I finished it off by fixing a few other pieces of plastic to the bodywork before moving on to painting it.
I went for a nice blue colour, but not forgetting a couple of go faster stripes of course!
It’s now the most deadly and speediest three wheeled vehicle ever to complete in the Death Race!
