Going through all my old Games Workshop stuff I found this copy of White Dwarf 113 which I must have bought in May 1989! As I leafed through the very nostalgic pages I came across this picture of an Imperial Guard Sentinel with all its quirkiness. From that point on I knew I had to make my own Sprue Dude version!
So I grabbed a small piece of sprue and off I went to craft one.
It was a little bit fiddly trying to get the legs looking half descent but in the end I was quite happy. Yes, its not an exact copy of the original but I think it looks cool.
The only bad thing about making this mini is that it’s probably going to open the flood gates and I’ll end up crafting lots of those Old Hammer models!
