I picked up this Sequence Num6ers board game from a charity shop for one whole pound. Solely because it came with these cool, chunky counters! As they stack on top of each other, I thought they’d be great for making some more modular terrain. There were 90 counters in the box, so I grabbed the first 30 orange ones and set about glueing some together!

I chose to stack five counters per terrain piece; this gave me six stacks in total. To make them look a little more Sci-Fi, I attached four pieces of sprue to their edges. Happily, they still stacked well afterwords.

To make it fit in with the last Warhammer terrain I made: Warhammer Yahtzee (not really!) – Project 1 – Use The Sprue, I went with the Necron colour scheme of black and green. The nobbles on the top of the structures could act as glowing green nodes (or something!).

After painting the six stacks, I got the urge to make six more, so I grabbed the blue ones and got cracking!

So, I now have 12 stacks of these things all ready to get in the way on the battlefield. They can be arranged in so many ways that I’m sure I’ll get some good use out of them. I still haven’t used the green counters, but I’m sure I’ll find a use for them soon!
