I fancied making a slightly more elaborate mini this time, so I thought about it for a bit and settled on a Werewolf! So I grabbed a few pieces of leftover sprue and went about fashioning a dog-like head.

First, I glued two pieces of sprue together before adding a couple of eyes. Then I dilled out some nose holes and attached two pointy ears.

With the body, I constructed it in the usual way with the round discs holding the limbs, but I did give him an exaggerated neck and an action pose. Next, I took my hobby knife and scratched all over the parts of the mini I wanted to look like fur. And to finish off, I made him a lovely sword and battle-ravaged shield.

This mini has definitely inspired me to create more animal dudes in the future. So I’m grabbing some more sprues and going to work right away!
