I felt the urge to make something useful from the curvy bits of a sprue. I racked my brain for a while but couldn’t stop thinking about worms or snakes. In the end I thought I could “evil” up a worm!

Selecting a nice curved section of the sprue, I set out by freeing it, then gently carving off the sharp edges. Next I made my first head. Taking inspiration from my demon dude (Sprue Dude no49: DEMON DUDE – Use The Sprue), I made it the same way.

After dry fitting it to the main body to make sure that it looked good, I went on and carved another two necks. I popped on a round piece of sprue on each before glueing all three heads on.

To make it seem a bit more intimidating, I made some spikes and attached them to strategic positions on the body. This was a fiddly process, and I stopped after making a dozen or so. After basing it with “Dartmoor River Granite”, this dude was complete.

I painted it in the same livery as the Demon Dude, a lovely red colour. This make two dudes for my emerging Demon warband. Who knows what I’ll make next?
